About Friday's Eve

Friday's Eve started back in 2023, during our freshman year of high school. Ignited by Junior Vinny Orlando, we started to hype up Football Fridays by referring to Thursday's as Friday Eve. After Vinny and Matias started posting "Friday Eves" on social media, just a picture of anything during the week posted on Thursdays, the term started to build up a culture around it primarily at Mission College Prep, but also around other schools in the area.

Fast forward to the spring of 2025, our founder Matias Eperjesi and the original co-founder, Cole Taylor, designed Friday's Eve as a hat brand in their second-period agriculture class. However, the brand carried a message that was a little beyond just enjoying Thursday: in the words of Matias's dad, it was to "work like a slave, and enjoy like a king". Basically, it means to push hard all week long, until you reach the weekend and finally enjoy the good times.

Heading into the summer, hats were a perfect piece of clothing that could be worn anywhere and added all the more to the energetic culture. After a spectacular summer of lake days, fair nights, and selling hats, Friday's Eve expanded into shirts and other apparel.

As of fall of 2025, Friday's Eve continues to grow beyond hats, and it is run by a young group of tight knit friends that spend their busy week looking forward to the weekend.
